Xmas Greetings

Xmas Greeting card messages
  • "Wishing you an abundance of friends, happiness, and fun this holiday season."
  •  "We should live every day like it is a holiday, being thankful and spending time with family, and looking hopefully to the future."
  •  "Hoping you are surrounded by love and warmth this holiday season. Merry Christmas."
  •  "Wishing you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year."
  •  "We wish you health, comfort, and prosperity this holiday season. Season's Greetings."
  •  "May your home be filled with the joy of family and friends this holiday season."
  •  "Your being present is the best present you could give me this holiday season. Happy Holidays."
  • This is a special Christmas card message.  I found it on the internet.

  • Santa was laid off this year.  Good thing we have a stimulus package under the Christmas tree.
  • Energy and environmental experts predict that, at current consumption rates, Santa will run out of sustainable coal for stockings by 2020.  Stop being so naughty!
  • I bought you a car for Christmas this year… I meant CARD. Oops, did I say car?
  • I bought this envelope for you and they threw in the Christmas card for free.
  • I’m not sure what you wanted for Christmas, so I just got you this card.
  • I would tell you, “Merry Christmas,” but I don’t think it will work out between you two.
  • Did you know Santa has dyslexia?  He spells his name S-a-t-a-n.
  • Too bad we can’t show each other the same Christian love on the road and in stores the way we do at Christmas time.
  • He knows when you are sleeping… He knows when you’re away… He knows when you’ve been bad or good… He knows how much you make…  I’ll give you one guess.  That’s right, big brother, the government.
  • "It's ironic that at the same time our bellies are gaining weight during the holidays, our wallets are going on a diet and losing weight. Happy Holidays"
  • "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year's Resolution failure."
  • "What do you get when you take Christmas time and take away all the hassle of shopping and busyness of the traditions? A Holy Day. Happy Holidays!"
  • "If you divorce Christmas using the Santa Clause, Christmas becomes X-mas. Then you can marry Holly Day!"
  • "Wishing you a holiday season filled with stress, cold, and anger. Hey, at least this is realistic."
  • "Sorry kids, Santa died. But the good news is now you can listen to Santana songs instead of Santa songs at Christmas time."
  • "I think the holidays were created to punish those who have been naughty. I must be on the naughty list every year, cause I feel punished."
  • "I got an idea, let's make a day every year where people are pressured socially to be kind, generous, happy, and patient. Oh yeah, that's already been done. Merry Christmas."
  • "Santa is just another example that fat dudes are the jolliest. Have a jolly Christmas."
  • Holiday Items
  • Religious Christmas Card Messages
  • "Merry Christmas, praise God Jesus has been born."
  • "Great things come in small packages. God’s gift to us in the form of baby Jesus was the greatest gift in the history of the world."
  • "It’s just another day we should thank God for sending Jesus to teach us how to love each other and give us hope of salvation."
  • "We hope you feel the love of Jesus Christ this holiday season who is the true reason for celebration."
  • "Christ’s birth has changed everything. Be joyous as you celebrate this holiday season."
  • "The reason we can give is because Jesus has given to us. The reason we can love is because Jesus has loved. The reason we can celebrate is because Jesus gave us a reason to celebrate."
  • "The best way to celebrate Jesus is to think of what the world would be like without Him and rejoice that He was born."
  • "Christmas is Independence Day for sinners."

panja movie review

release date:
 9 dec 2011
123telugu.com Rating : 3/5
Director : Vishnu Vardhan
Producer : Shobu Yarlagadda, Neelima Tirumalasetti, Nagesh
Music Director : Yuvan Shankar Raja
Starring: Pawan Kalyan, Sarah Jane Dias, Anjali Lavania

Power Star Pawan Kalyan has hit the screens today with ‘Panjaa’. The movie has been directed by Tamil Director Vishnuvardhan and music has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Shobhu Yarlagadda and Neelima Thirumalasetty have produced the movie jointly. Let us see how the movie stacks up.
Story:
Jaidev ( Pawan Kalyan ) is an accomplished hitman and he is the most trusted aide of Bhagawan (Jackie Shroff ), who is the supreme Don of Kolkata. They share a businessrivalry with Kulkarni (Atul Kulkarni),who aims to overthrow Bhagawan as the Don. Things are smooth until Bhagwan’s son Munna (Adivi Sesh) returns back to India. He is a psychotic and highly impulsive character and his behaviour creates problems for everyone. He has his eyes on club dancer Jahnavi (Anjali Lavania) but she rejects him as she adores Jaidev.
Jaidev meanwhile comes across Sandhya (Sarah Jane Dias), who is a soft spoken environmentalist and tree lover. A mutual admiration for each other leads to a romanticinvolvement between the two. Munna meanwhile, continues to go crazy about Jahnavi and a tragedy ensues.
Jaidev is forced to decide whether to retaliate or leave Kolkata completely. He chooses to leave out of loyalty to Bhagawan and heads to Palasa, the village of Sandhya. He comes across S.I.Paparayudu (Brahmanandam) and he solves the problems of the village by cleverly using Paparayudu.
Bhagawan on the other hand, cannot rest until he seeks out Jai for revenge. What happens eventually and whether Jai decides to fight back forms the rest of the story.
Plus Points :
First half of the movie is good with decent comedy and the film moves along at a fairly rapid pace. The interval block has been shaped up superbly. Pawan Kalyan looks superb in the movie and he has delivered a very fine performance as Jaidev. He is restrained and composed. The trademark Pawan Kalyan mannerisms and energy will not be there as the script does not allow it.
Sarah Jane Dias is good in the role of Sandhya. She has delivered a good performance. She shares a lovely screen chemistry with Pawan Kalyan and the romantic track is good to watch.
Anjali Lavania sizzles in her role and she looks seductive in the item song. Adivi Sesh has turned in a commendable performance as the psychotic and impulsive Munna. Jackie Shroff is ok. Brahmanandam rocks as S.I. Paparayudu. His moments with Pawan Kalyan are hilarious.
Paruchuri Venkateshwara Rao and Tanikella Bharani are decent as the associates of Bhagawan. Ali is good as Chotu, the associate of Pawan Kalyan in Kolkata. Jhansi and Subbaraju are ok as Sandhya’s family members.
Cinematography is top notch and fight sequences are terrific (More on them in technical section). All the songs have been shot extremely stylishly.
Minus Points :
The movie has very little to offer in terms of commercial elements one expects from a Pawan Kalyan film. Fans will be disappointed as their favourite hero does not exhibit his trademark mannerisms or energy.
The screenplay is slightly slow in the second half and save for Brahmanandam’s episode, will not be appreciated by everyone. The plot is wafer thin and does not offer much scope for the director to come up with engaging sequences.
The amount of effort that went into making a stylish and sleek film should have been invested in the script and story as well. There are a lot of philosophical moments of reflection in the movie that will not be understood by the common man and by people in B and C centers.
Technical Aspects :
Cinematography is extremely good. The camera angles, the lighting and the way the scenes have been mounted are very fresh. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s background score is good. Editing is decent. Dialogues are pretty well written, though they lack commercial value. There are no masala or punch dialogues in the movie. They are very subtle and polished.
Fights have been choreographed extremely well. I can confidently say that they are some of the best and most stylish fight sequences seen in Telugu movies so far.
Verdict:
Panjaa is a stylish and sleek film that will probably not be enjoyed by Pawan fans. Regular moviegoers and non Pawan Kalyan fans will find the movie to be good. There are next to no commercial elements that people come to expect from Pawan Kalyan’s movies. But on the bright side, the stylish fight sequences, the subtle comedy and Pawan’s superbly restrained performance stand out in the movie. Brahmi’s episode is good. Watch it without expectations and you might enjoy the film.

Bejawada movie review

Bejawada Movie Review – Naga Chaitanya Movie

Bezawada Movie Review – Bejawada Movie Review, Rating, Telugu Movie: This film was known as ‘Bejawada Rowdeelu’ at the start, but later it was cut short to Bejawada due to severe agitation from Vijayawada politicians and activists. With so many controversies and buzz surrounding it due to the issue it is focused on, Bejawada opened to curious crowds today. Did it live up to the hype and hoopla? Let’s find out in the review…

Story:
Bejawada is ruled by Khali (Prabhu), who runs a parallel government in the town. His younger brother Shankar (Abhimanyu Singh) is power thirsty and is jealous about Vijay Krisha (Mukul Dev), who is a close aide to Khali. Out of desperation to be the ruler, Shankar eliminates his brother and lock horns with Vijay Krishna.

Shankar successfully kills Vijay Krishna and the latter’s younger brother Shiva (Naga Chaitanya) avenges his brother’s death. How Shiva kills Shankar and wipes out his empire forms rest of the story.

Analysis:
Like it was publicized Bejawada is not a realistic look on the history nor does it bear any references to what ‘actually’ happened. Looks like the filmmakers tried to cash in on the ‘curious factor’ that is associated with Bejawada rowdy-ism. This is a routine revenge drama where two groups fight for the upper hand.

Obviously good wins over evil! So there needs to be a tight and arresting screenplay for such films to keep the audience interested. Unfortunately, Bejawada lacks the bite! It is a very dull film with poor screenplay. Everything goes as per the audience predictions. It also ends on a predictable note.

First half is mainly focused on the gang politics in which hero is left in the background. He comes to the front in the second hour, but a poor script lets the film down. One would expect a tense thriller out of this concept. But the director’s inability to highlight the emotions seems to be the biggest drawback of the film.

Second hour is sheer test of patience and it would be an almost impossible task to sit through it. It may appeal to people who look for excessive violence in a film.

Performances:
Naga Chaitanya didn’t suit the role. He is good in portraying romantic characters. He needs some time to take up such high voltage films. His costumes and looks are good. He should focus on his diction as soon as possible. It is the main drawback for him as an actor at present.

Amala Paul has good looks but her role is half baked. Abhimanyu Singh is menacing as the bad boy. Prabhu and Mukul Dev are alright. Ajay, Kota Srinivasa Rao and others did their bit. Brahmanandam is wasted.

Technicalities:
Music is composed by almost half a dozen people. The output is mediocre. None of the songs really made any impact and the background score is too loud. Cinematography is bad. The camera angles and the technique used will let us down. Editing is jerky and unconvincing. There are many jump cuts and irrelevant opening and closings of the scenes. Production values are of low standard. The film is made on a shoe string budget.

Director Vivek Krishna tried to ape Ram Gopal Varma in terms of storytelling and camera angles. His output is not up to the mark. He didn’t do justice to any of the emotions. Be it agony, romance or comedy. When the director doesn’t want to highlight any of the historical facts, then why did he opt for Vijayawada rowdy-ism backdrop is a million dollars question.

Final Word:
Bejawada may appeal to mass audience that look for some action and violence. People who expect a sensible or a sensational film from RGV’s camp will be terribly disappointed.

Bejawada Movie Rating: 2.5/5

Banner: Shreya Productions
Cast: Naga Chaitanya, Amala Paul, Anjana Sukhani, Brahmanandam, Nassar
Producer: Ram Gopal Varma, Kiran Kumar Koneru
Direction: Vivek Krishn
